A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist role is available to provide direct support to K-12 students within a hybrid model in Providence, RI. This contract position offers flexibility with either part-time or full-time hours, providing the opportunity to collaborate within a dynamic educational setting serving diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in alignment with state and school requirements.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
- Adapt therapy approaches to a hybrid format, balancing in-person and remote sessions based on student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure meeting state requirements.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
- Experience providing SLP services within a school setting K-12, with proven ability to manage caseload effectively.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in both in-person and hybrid environments.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success.
