This opportunity is for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students in public schools located in Providence, RI. Flexible part-time or full-time positions are available on a hybrid schedule, offering varied caseload options based on district needs. The contract runs from ASAP through June 16, 2026.
Key qualifications and credentials include:
- Valid state licensure and certification as an SLP (CCC certification preferred)
- Experience working within school settings, especially K-12 environments
- Ability to provide in-person services as the preferred method of delivery
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district reporting requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to integrated student support efforts
