A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Providence, RI, serving K-12 students within a public school district. This hybrid role offers flexibility with part-time or full-time hours and a contract duration through June 16, 2026, starting as soon as possible. Caseload specifics will be determined based on student needs and discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Communicate regularly with school staff, parents, and other professionals regarding student development.
- Participate in team meetings and adhere to all state and district policies and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC-SLP) and state licensure.
- Experience or training in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
- Ability to work in-person with a hybrid schedule.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations in educational settings.
