Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an opportunity to work directly with K-12 students in a public school setting in Arcadia, Louisiana. The role is based onsite at Saline High School and spans from December 1 through May 22, serving the complete school year contract period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and district regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
- Licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Louisiana is required.
- Experience working within educational settings, particularly with K-12 student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and complete licensure requirements if not currently licensed in Louisiana.
