A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year at a K-12 school located in Ruston, LA. This onsite contract role runs from December 1 through May 22 and involves working primarily at a high school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience or dedication in working with K-12 school-aged children
- Louisiana SLP licensure required or willingness to obtain licensure and travel as needed
