Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in a K-12 school setting located in Okatie, SC. This contract role spans the current school year, with an immediate start date through June 1, 2026. The position requires on-site work for 37.5 hours per week, providing direct speech and language services to students.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates will also be considered
- Experience working in school settings, preferably K-12
- Ability to deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to diverse student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and parents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy services to students
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in school team meetings and assist with compliance documentation
