Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Bluffton, SC, this opportunity offers a rewarding contract position in a K-12 school setting working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The role provides a full-time, onsite schedule with 37.5 hours per week, running from ASAP through June 1, 2026.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for students K-12
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support students' communication needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student communication progress
- Maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with school district policies
- Participating in meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current in best practices
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP Credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence - CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status preferred
- Candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) experience may also be considered
- Previous experience working in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a school team
- Commitment to supporting the speech and language development of children across the K-12 spectrum
