A school psychologist position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Plainfield, IL. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students mental health.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student challenges and monitor progress.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to recommend evidence-based strategies to promote positive student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience working within a K-12 school setting preferred.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is highly preferred and considered a significant advantage.
- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time (full-time is 37.5 hours per week).
- Availability to work in person within the school premises.
