This position offers an opportunity to serve as a School Psychologist within a K-12 educational setting in Gresham, OR. The role focuses on providing psychological support and assessments for students across various disability categories, divided between middle and high school levels during the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students across all disability categories
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement student support plans
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services as needed
- Assist in navigating behavioral challenges and academic accommodations
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district policies and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in middle and high school environments
- Knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and psychological interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school teams and families
Location and Schedule:
- Assignment based in Gresham, OR
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Contract duration covering a 6-week period from January 5 through February 13
