A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support a K-12 public school setting in Pocomoke City, MD. This role focuses on delivering specialized OT services within an elementary school environment, providing essential help to students in need of therapeutic intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional performance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals and create adaptive strategies within the classroom.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to comply with school district policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Maryland.
- Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged students.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and families.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and adapt interventions based on ongoing assessments.

- Serving a caseload of one elementary school
Position Details:

- Average of 35-40 billable hours per week
