This contract opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support in a K-12 school setting located in Delmar, MD. The role focuses on delivering therapeutic services within one elementary school, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and continuing through June 10, 2026. This position offers an average of 35-40 billable hours per week during the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy services.
- Implement therapy programs to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress and inclusion.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services delivered and progress notes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in school-based settings.
