A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a K-12 school setting. This role requires delivering remote speech-language pathology services, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a caseload and school assignments to be determined. The contract spans from ASAP through May 22, 2026, with a commitment of 35 hours per week, including seven hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language pathology assessment and intervention via teletherapy platforms
- Collaborating with school personnel to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting regular progress monitoring and documentation to meet educational and clinical standards
- Utilizing online tools and technology effectively to enhance remote therapy sessions
Qualifications and experience required:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Louisiana state license and licensure in the candidates state of residence
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Minimum of three years' experience in a school-based setting, preferably in Louisiana
- Demonstrated experience delivering teletherapy services
- Successful completion of a technology screening
- One professional reference on file supporting clinical skills and professionalism
