A full-time school psychologist position focused on telehealth services is available within a K-12 school setting in Kenner, LA. This contract role spans the current school year with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and continues through May 22, 2026. The position involves delivering psychological services remotely to students across multiple schools within the district.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting teletherapy sessions and psychological assessments for students K-12
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student mental health and learning needs
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Serving a caseload consistent with full-time hours (35 hours per week, 7 hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as a school psychologist
- Licensure valid in Louisiana and in the candidates state of residence
- Minimum of three years experience working as a school psychologist within Louisiana schools
- Proven competence in teletherapy delivery
- Successful completion of a technical screening
- One professional reference available
