Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing occupational therapy services for early intervention in a school environment offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in children's development. This contract position is based in Norristown, PA, at an elementary school setting and requires full-time commitment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to preschool-aged children through early intervention programs
- Travel throughout the county to various community preschool locations as required
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
- Participate in team meetings and planning sessions to develop individual education plans
Qualifications:
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with early intervention populations, particularly in school or preschool settings
- Ability to travel within the county to multiple sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to full-time availability, approximately 35 hours per week
