Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Physical Therapist position is available supporting early intervention services at an elementary school setting in the Philadelphia, PA area. This role involves working 2-3 days per week on a contract basis for the current school year.
Location:
Philadelphia, PA (services provided in surrounding community preschools within Delaware County)
Position Details:
- Part-time role with approximately 2-3 days per week schedule
- Contract duration aligned with the current school year
- Caseload will primarily include early intervention services
- Candidates must be willing to travel throughout Delaware County to provide therapy in community preschool settings
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early intervention or preschool settings
- Comfortable with a traveling role, managing multiple community locations
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills with children, families, and educators
- Ability to document and report therapy progress according to program requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical physical therapy evaluation and treatment to preschool-aged children in community settings
- Travel between multiple early intervention sites throughout Delaware County to deliver services
- Collaborate with families, educators, and related service providers to support individual therapy goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy services and progress
- Participate in meetings and training as required by the program
