A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 public school setting in Bradenton, Florida. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on-site across multiple schools, supporting a diverse caseload of students with speech and language needs.
Assignment Details:
- Locations: Sugg Middle School, Blackburn Elementary, and Abel or Abel/Tillman Elementary
- Duration: Varies by school, ranging from ASAP through May 28, 2026
- Caseload: Approximately 60 students at Sugg Middle School, including a self-contained/cluster program for Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD); maternity leave coverage at Blackburn Elementary with an existing SLP and part-time SLPA; full-time vacancy at Abel/Tillman Elementary due to relocation of current SLP

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida SLP license required
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- SLPA applications are not being accepted at this time
- Experience in school-based SLP services preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluation and therapy to K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication goals
- Manage caseload and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
