Joe King, PT – Owner, Mentor, Educator
Joe founded Physical Therapy Advantage in 2007 after six years at Naperville Physical Therapy under the mentorship of Mary Rachford and Gary Rachford. He became the sole owner in 2011 and has continued to grow the clinic into a trusted provider of evidence-based, results-driven therapy.
A passionate educator, Joe has served as an adjunct professor at Midwestern University and frequently lectures at North Central College, Aurora University, Waubonsee Community College, and Northern Illinois University. He also supports the development of future PTs through clinical rotations for PTA and PT students.
Outside of the clinic, Joe enjoys family time, travel, and outdoor activities like hiking, boating, and hunting.

Your Role & Responsibilities
Provide expert manual therapy and individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
Manage a caseload of 50-65 visits per week (for full-time) with regular reassessments and progress tracking.
Educate and empower patients to take an active role in their recovery.
Maintain professional communication with patients, team members, and referring physicians.
Stay engaged in ongoing learning, including monthly clinical training sessions and continuing education opportunities.

- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Illinois.
- Passionate about manual therapy, orthopedics, and delivering patient-centered care.

- A clear communicator, ensuring accurate documentation and effective patient education.
- 3+ years of outpatient experience preferred.
- Previous outpatient experience required.
