A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the current school year at a high-needs K-12 public school located in Naperville, IL. This contract position offers the chance to support a diverse student population within a special education cooperative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students with autism, intellectual disabilities, social-emotional disabilities, and other related special education needs
- Collaborate effectively with program and district administration, classroom personnel, and families to develop and implement appropriate interventions and support plans
- Provide expert consultation regarding student needs, progress, and accommodations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement
- Proven experience conducting assessments for students with various disabilities, including autism and intellectual disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to problem-solve and provide meaningful recommendations for student interventions and supports
