Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers an opportunity to provide essential support to K-12 students in a public school setting, working alongside educational professionals dedicated to student success. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, beginning January 7, 2026, and concluding May 21, 2026. Located in the Denver area, this contract requires onsite presence with no remote or hybrid options.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy to students within a school-based setting
- Managing caseloads under direct supervision, supporting students across various age groups
- Collaborating with school staff to implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation aligned with district policies
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working as an SLPA within a school system, preferably across K-12 grade levels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, educators, and supervisors
- Ability to work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday, without hybrid or virtual options
