Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available to support students in a K-8 school setting serving preschool through fifth grade, with some assignments extending to middle school levels. This contract position offers the chance to work directly with diverse caseloads, including students in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) units and early childhood programs.
Location: Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie, Florida
Duration: Contract through the 20252026 school year (ASAP start through June 2, 2026)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time options available with flexible school assignments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students across preschool to middle school grades.
- Manage caseloads primarily serving PK-5th grade, with the possibility of middle school coverage.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and related service professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver services onsite at assigned schools, including support for off-site programs like Head Start.
- Supervise clinical fellows, as this position welcomes new graduates requiring mentorship.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with students ranging from early childhood through middle school.
