Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students across multiple campuses in Fort Pierce, FL. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services including assessments, testing, counseling, and participating in meetings to support student development and well-being. The assignment spans the current school year, from the start date to June 2, 2026, aligned with the school calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students in PreK through 8th grade.
- Provide counseling services tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies.
- Attend and contribute to meetings regarding student progress and special education eligibility.
- Maintain compliance with all district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist Licensure is mandatory.
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably K-12.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and meet reporting deadlines.
- Previous experience with school-based psychological services is highly desirable.
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Fort Pierce, FL, serving three schools including Westwood, PreK, and Northport K8.
- Full-time hours, approximately 35 hours per week.
- This role requires on-site presence; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
