A full-time bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Aurora, IL area serving K-12 schools. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 20, 2026, supporting multiple school sites with varied caseloads. Candidates must be licensed in Illinois with the required Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement and Illinois SLP licensure.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language services to students in early childhood through K-12 settings
- Managing caseloads across multiple school locations, which may include early childhood centers and elementary schools
- Conducting evaluations and providing direct therapy services in English and Spanish
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adhering to district policies and maintaining documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, both oral and written
- Willingness to work onsite exclusively (no remote options)
- Ability to manage caseloads at multiple school sites, including early childhood programs
- New graduates (CFs) welcome with supervision provided
Location and Work Schedule:
- Primarily based in the Aurora, IL area within the Chicago region
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Assignment may include working at early childhood and elementary sites, with itinerant evaluation duties
- Onsite presence required; virtual work is not permitted
