Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapist position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school district located in Kissimmee, FL. This role focuses on providing specialized physical therapy services across multiple schools within the district throughout the contract school year, starting ASAP through late May 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering physical therapy evaluations and treatment to students based on individual educational plans.
- Managing caseloads with attention to severity and student needs.
- Traveling between assigned schools within the district, typically one school per day, to ensure consistent and effective therapy support.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to promote student progress and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Physical Therapist licensure is required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and travel between schools.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and student needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Kissimmee, Florida.
- Full-time commitment of 35 hours per week.
- On-site work required; this role is not open to virtual or remote options.
- Contract term from immediate start through May 28, 2026.
