Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract position is available for a dedicated school psychologist to support K-12 students in Ann Arbor, MI. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention within a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support student learning and development.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention.
- Assist in the development of programs that promote mental health and well-being among students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute valuable insights on student needs.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding student psychological services.
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for K-12 education.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school environment.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Knowledge of special education law and procedures.
