A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Canton, MI. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to fostering student development through psychological evaluation, intervention, and consultation within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs promoting mental health and positive behavior.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports related to assessments and services provided.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust support plans accordingly.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
