Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services to students from Pre-K through 4th grade for a leave of absence position starting immediately through approximately April. This contract role offers an opportunity to impact young learners in an elementary school setting in Jersey City, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in PreK to 4th grade
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state and district policies
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as required
- Adhere to all NJ state licensure and school policies for onsite service delivery
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; no clinical fellows or assistants accepted
- Active NJ state SLP license and NJ Educator license valid within the last year
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Ability to work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week
- Must be able to start immediately with documentation ready for archiving in the system
