Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support students from Pre-K through 4th grade at an elementary school in Paterson, New Jersey. This is a leave replacement contract position lasting approximately 3 to 4 months, starting as soon as possible and continuing through April.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades Pre-K to 4th.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Adhere to all state and district regulations regarding special education services.
Qualifications:
- Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Active New Jersey Educator license.
- Ability to work onsite full time, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
- Availability to begin immediately.
- Eligible candidates must have maintained an active NJ license within the past year.
- No SLP Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (SLP CFs); fully credentialed SLPs only.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based in Paterson, NJ, housed within an elementary school setting.
- Full-time schedule, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Contract duration: Approximately December through April.
