Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide onsite services primarily to elementary students, with a caseload that includes approximately 10 high school students. This role supports a leave replacement assignment, starting January 5th, 2026, and concluding in April 2026.
Location:
- High school and elementary school settings in Winchester, VA
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy to students across elementary and high school levels
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and school personnel
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working within school settings, especially with mixed-age caseloads
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Schedule:
- 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- 35 hours per week
