Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students within a public school setting from January through April 2026. This role is based onsite in Front Royal, VA, primarily serving an elementary caseload alongside approximately 10 high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students identified with communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school and state requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success strategies.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs within both elementary and high school settings.
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia State SLP License is required.
- Completion of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings and with mixed-age caseloads.
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential.
- Ability to work independently within an educational environment.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- Approximately 35 hours per week.
- Contract period: January 5, 2026 to April 2026.
