A specialized opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide on-site support in a unique K-8 educational setting focused on students with severe behavioral challenges. This contract role spans the current school year through June 12, 2026, offering 37.5 hours per week, with early release on Wednesdays.
Location:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students at the Lane School and Transitions programs.
- Work collaboratively within a specialized behavior school supporting some of the most significant needs in the county.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech and language disorders.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP Licensure) required.
- Experience working with severe behavioral challenges preferred.
- Familiarity with K-8 educational environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a specialized school setting.
