Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a specialized behavioral K-8 school setting in Eugene, OR. The role involves working closely with students who have significant behavioral challenges, requiring experience, patience, and a compassionate approach. This on-site position runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek that includes early release on Wednesdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a specialized student population with complex behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and communication with families to support student success
- Maintain licensure and adhere to professional standards in all aspects of service delivery
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current SLP certification and meet all licensure requirements
- Experience working with children who have severe behavioral challenges preferred
- Strong clinical skills in assessment and intervention in a school setting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
