A school district in the Tampa, FL area is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for onsite contract roles serving K-12 students. Positions are available immediately through May 23rd with multiple openings across several schools and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations for preschoolers, specifically within the ChildFind program evaluating 3-year-olds (1-5 days per week, district-wide)
- Provide targeted SLP support for students at various schools including middle and high schools with caseloads ranging from one day per week to full-time schedules
- Collaborate with educators and staff to address student communication needs in compliance with educational guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP license, including Clinical Fellows (CFs) supervision support provided
- Experience or interest in school-based pediatric speech-language services
- Ability to work onsite during school hours with flexible availability to meet varying school schedules
- No SLPA candidates; licensed SLPs or CFs only
