A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services within an elementary school setting in Chugiak, AK. This contract position runs through the current school year, with a commitment from now until May 21, 2026. The role requires onsite presence and involves a caseload of approximately 1:600 students, focusing on delivering assessments, interventions, and support for students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide consultation and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Alaska certification and licensure as a School Psychologist are required
