A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to support K-12 students in need of specialized communication services. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering teletherapy services within a vibrant educational setting, serving a diverse student population.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions via telepractice.
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique communication needs.
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress and engagement.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on student performance.
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure; SLPA applications will not be considered.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Proven experience in teletherapy and school-based speech-language services.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students remotely.
- Ability to utilize technology effectively for delivering high-quality telepractice services.
Location:This role supports students in the Montgomery, Alabama area, with services delivered remotely to meet client needs.
Contract details:
- Duration: Immediate start through May 22, 2026.
- Weekly hours: 37.5 hours.
- Caseload primarily at one high school within the system.
