Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in a K-12 school setting in Hickory, NC, for the current school year contract through May 29, 2026. This role offers an opportunity to support students in elementary and middle school grades with speech and language therapy and evaluations.
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Current School Year)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Elementary and middle school students
Work Environment: Onsite only
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students across K-8 grades
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work independently onsite
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
