Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for two Paraprofessionals to provide dedicated support to life skills students in a K-12 educational setting. These roles focus on assisting students with lower cognitive abilities in developing independence and life skills, ensuring a supportive and structured learning environment.
Location:
- Eugene, OR (on-site only)
Position Details:
- Full-time contract through June 12, 2026
- 35 hours per week, with early release on Wednesdays
- Two positions available supporting life skills classrooms at different schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist life skills students in gaining functional and independent living skills
- Provide one-on-one and group support tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Paraeducator certification required
- Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and independence
