Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This temporary Speech-Language Pathologist position offers the opportunity to serve preschool-aged children in Bucks County, PA, through itinerant early intervention services. The contract runs approximately from January 5 to June 12, 2026, with hours totaling 37.5 per week.
Two roles are available:
- Position 1: Itinerant Lower County, with 100% travel expected from the main office in Levittown, PA. The caseload focuses on Preschool Early Intervention.
- Position 2: Itinerant Lower County, with 50% travel required, also from the Levittown main office, serving the Preschool Early Intervention caseload.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in early intervention or school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility for itinerant travel schedules (either 50% or 100% depending on the position)
- Ability to comply with all state and local regulations regarding early intervention services
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language evaluation, therapy, and consultation services to eligible preschool children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on early childhood communication goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to professional standards
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educational staff to support child development and program success
- Manage itinerant travel to multiple sites based on assigned caseload
