A specialized opportunity is available for a fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the chance to work with a Pre-K through 8th-grade caseload, delivering essential speech and language services in a supportive educational environment.
Location:
- Hamburg, NJ (Warren County), within a local elementary school
Position Details:
- Contract duration: ASAP through May 29, 2026
- Work hours: 7:50 AM to 3:05 PM, Monday through Friday (32.5 hours per week)
- Caseload: Pre-K to 8th grade students
- Role focus: Maternity leave coverage, providing direct speech-language pathology services
Qualifications:
- Full licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (no Clinical Fellows or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants considered)
- Compliance with all state licensure requirements
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments appropriate for school-age children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and communicate effectively with educators, parents, and administration
- Maintain compliance with school district policies and state regulations
