Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide comprehensive speech and language services within K-12 schools and Early Intervention programs in Carbon and Lehigh Counties, Pennsylvania. This role supports students' communication needs from initial assessment through individualized therapy, contributing to their academic and social success.
Location: Carbon & Lehigh County, PA
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Contract Duration: ASAP through approximately June 12, 2026 (aligned with the school calendar)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 settings and Early Intervention programs
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor and report on therapy outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations governing speech-language services in schools
Required Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania PDE certification in Speech and Language (Ed Sp/Instructional I)
- Proof of active PA Speech-Language Pathologist license is mandatory
- ASHA Clinical Competency Certificate (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred
- Experience working with school-age children and knowledge of school-based therapy regulations
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
