A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the remaining 2026 school year, starting January 5th through May 29th, 2026. This contract role focuses on delivering speech therapy services within an elementary school setting located in Tinley Park, IL.
Responsibilities include providing targeted speech and language support to elementary students from Pre-K through 5th grade. The caseload consists of approximately 12 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 7 students receiving Response to Intervention (RTI) services. The role requires collaboration with school staff to implement effective individualized therapy plans that address the specific communication needs of each student.
Key qualifications and experience desired for this position:
- Valid Illinois State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- PEL Endorsement for SLP in schools
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in educational settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development and RTI frameworks
- Ability to work part-time, approximately 2.5 days per week
