A School Psychologist position is available to support student mental health and academic success within educational settings in Chicago, IL. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to a positive school environment. Travel will be required to support multiple school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to address behavioral and learning challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on student development.
- Promote mental health initiatives and assist with crisis intervention.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality and ethical standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Relevant licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting assessments and delivering psychological interventions within schools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed.
- Knowledge of educational laws, practices, and psychological testing.
