Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services aimed at improving student well-being and academic achievement.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide support initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with educational standards and regulations.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or certification appropriate for the state.
- Experience in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments.
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff.
- Ability and willingness to travel between school sites as required.
Location:This position is based in Des Plaines, IL, with travel to multiple school locations in the area.
