Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving an elementary school setting in Georgetown, TX, for a full semester contract from January through May 21st. You will provide speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 45-50 students, including those with speech-only needs, resource/inclusion students, Autism spectrum disorders, and participation in a specialized social skills program.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students across various needs and programs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop effective communication interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to specialized program development focused on social skills
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary school settings
- Skilled in managing diverse caseloads encompassing speech-only, inclusion, autism, and social skills programming
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
