Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within an elementary school setting in Dallas, TX. The role is a contract assignment for the current school year, focusing on assessing and supporting students communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with valid CCC credentials
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, and educators
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Design and provide therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student success
- Participate in meetings related to student IEPs and educational goals
