Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time contract position offers an opportunity for experienced school psychologists to support K-12 students across multiple schools in the Aurora, IL area. The role involves working onsite within a structured school district environment, providing psychological services to children from preschool through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in middle and elementary schools
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student social, emotional, and academic development
- Monitor student progress and adjust services as needed to meet educational goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute professional expertise in special education planning
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong assessment and counseling skills tailored to diverse student populations
- Ability to work effectively with school teams and families
- Commitment to student-centered service and confidentiality
Position Details:

- Caseload: One position at a middle school; two positions each split between four elementary schools serving PreK through 5th grade
