This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a vibrant school setting in Aurora, IL. The position is offered as a contract for the current school year (CSY), providing comprehensive speech and language services tailored to meet diverse student needs.
Ideal candidates will hold an SLP credential with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), demonstrating expertise in school-based speech therapy. Experience working within K-12 environments is highly valued to effectively collaborate with educators and families and to foster student communication development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Providing direct therapy services to students across all grade levels
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
