Located in Emeryville, CA, this part-time (0.6 FTE) School Psychologist position offers the opportunity to support K-12 students in their educational and emotional development. Working onsite at a single location, this contract role begins in late February to cover maternity leave and provides an engaging environment to conduct psycho-educational assessments and deliver counseling services within a collaborative school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for referred students under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services.
- Provide consultative services and implement strategies to promote student learning and development.
- Deliver short-term counseling to special education students as per IEP designations and to general education students when appropriate.
- Adapt to changing caseloads and evolving student needs with flexibility and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Active California State Licensure as a School Psychologist is required.
- Masters degree in educational or clinical psychology.
- Completion of at least one year of internship supervised by a credentialed school psychologist.
