Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide occupational therapy services within a school setting located in Biloxi, MS. The role requires delivering individualized therapy to students, supporting their development and academic success through tailored interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Travel throughout school district as required to serve multiple locations
