An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a school setting located in Ocean Springs, MS. This role involves travel to various educational sites to support students developmental and functional needs through therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students occupational therapy needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting techniques to support academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school protocols.
- Travel between school locations as required to deliver services efficiently.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with current certification.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
