Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students developmental, sensory, and motor skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy into the classroom environment
- Provide direct hands-on therapy sessions and monitor student progress regularly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student support
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for the state of North Dakota
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based therapy settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of sensory integration, fine motor development, and adaptive equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and educators
- Ability and willingness to travel as required among school locations
- Flexibility, patience, and creativity in addressing individual student needs
